I grew up between Moscow and Manhattan — two cities that taught me beauty lives in extremes. By twenty-three I was assisting on fashion shoots for Vogue Russia. By twenty-six I had my own editorial byline. Then a friend asked me to photograph her wedding, and I saw something I'd never seen on a fashion set: two people completely unguarded in front of a lens. I put the Vogue work on hold. I never went back.
I approach every wedding the way I approached every editorial: with a shot list in my head, an eye trained on light and geometry, and zero tolerance for mediocrity. Your wedding is not a snapshot occasion — it is the single most visually significant day of your life. I treat it accordingly. Precise. Intentional. Technically perfect. And unmistakably yours.

Daria is the most technically precise photographer I've ever worked with — and I'm an architect, so I notice these things. The geometry in her framing is immaculate. She worked the Chicago skyline like a backdrop she'd scouted for months. When our gallery arrived, my first thought was: these are not wedding photos. These are photographs. There is a difference.
